Will Young Probably Won’t Break Records With New CD

Pop Idol winner Will Young sees his new album ‘From Now On’ released today, but while industry experts predicting it will be a Christmas best-seller, it probably will not break the record for debut album sales. David Roberts, editor of The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles, said Young’s popularity was beginning to wane. “If I was a betting man I think I would say no,” he said of the chances of a record breaking solo male artist debut.
