Today, MTV’s Total Request Live gave out the first ever TRL Awards. The winners included the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Britney Spears and many others. The only artist on hand to accept their awards were Britney Spears and Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson. The other winners either phoned into TRL or sent a tape.
