Writer Admits It’s Difficult Admitting To Liking Britney

Elisa Bongiovanni of the Contra Costa Times gave her thoughts on Britney Spears and admitted, “I’ve always liked Britney, you see, but up until recently, I was ashamed of it. That is, until I realized I wasn’t alone.” Bongiovanni explained, “I enjoy her music for the same reason I enjoy Jerry Bruckheimer flicks — it’s mindless entertainment. You know as an ‘adult’ you are supposed to hate it, or her in this case, but you can’t help but be secretly entertained.”
