Zach Braff Denies Romance With Jessica Simpson

Zach Braff spoke with ‘Extra’ about reports he had fallen for Jessica Simpson while on the rebound from his ex, Mandy Moore. “It’s totally made up,” Braff admitted. “I met her a couple of times, she’s a very sweet girl.” As for why Zach suspects the rumors started, he said, “I think I saw her two months ago at a bar in the Hamptons. And that was it.” The actor said the reports made his already difficult breakup from Mandy even more uncomfortable. “A relationship is hard, period. And doing it in the public eye is very new to me,” Zach acknowledged. “I was a waiter five years ago, so when I was a waiter no one was writing lies about me in tabloids.”
