Britney Spears Performance Demonstrates A Tale Of 2 Nations

Robert Knight, director of the Culture and Family Institute was in a huff following Britney Spears’ performance on the NFL Kickoff party at The National Mall on Thursday night.

Writing on the conservative website, Knight blasted, “With the Capitol as a backdrop, Spears turned America’s front yard into a celebration of sluttery, complete with scantily clad dancers, crotch-grabbing and the stirring patriotic message: ‘If you want to party, just grab somebody.’ Meanwhile, down in Montgomery, Ala., the monument bearing the Ten Commandments installed by Chief Justice Roy Moore in the state Supreme Court building languished out of view, banished by a federal judge who found their placement obscene.”

Oh god, stop your whining, why can’t someone write something positive about her performance. instead everyone is just babbling and complaining…if you didn’t like it, keep it to yourself.

Apples and oranges. Britney dancing slutty is covered by the 1st amendment, whereas your precious 10 commandments is prohibited by the whole “separation of church and state” dealy. If you don’t agree with Britney’s performance, then call the people advertising during the show and tell them you aren’t going to by their products because they support her dancing like a whore. Get your friends to do it, too. Write letters. Boycott. But saying crap like “well, if Britney gets to take her pants off, then we should get to break the law with our statue” is illogical. Saying you should be allowed to do one wrong (illegal) thing just because someone else is allowed to do a different (legal) bad thing is ridiculous.

I bet he really had no problem with her performance. He’s just using it as an excuse to complain against the 10 commandment statue getting removed.

Uh he should have been complaining about her horrible lip synching, dancing, and performance, not her “slu ttery.” For one Britney wasn’t even that slu ttish I don’t think.
