Album Sales Rise On Thanksgiving Weekend Momentum

Now 8 and Britney Spears’ latest captured the #2 and #3 spots in this week’s album charts according to Hits Magazine, who shows Spears selling 453,778 copies of ‘Britney’ (up 35%) while ‘Now 8’ crossed 586,000. Others charting high were Enrique Iglesias at #9 and Michael Jackson dropping to #12, with Madonna right behind at #13. The Backstreet Boys Chapter 1 got a bump with a 40% jump in sales to #18. Creed topped all by far with nearly 900,000 sales of ‘Weathered.’
