Thee Boston Herald reports that Ashlee Simpson, who is headlining Saturday’s KISS 108 show at the Hatch Shell, requested a Suburban – no limo and driver – for herself and her pals to drive around town in. They suggested all area malls should be alerted after the chaos her sister caused in the area.

Good for her, she totally deserves it! Her album is pretty awesome.
I sort of feel bad for Ashlee Simpson, because until she starts completely writing her own music, she’s always going to be Jessica’s little sister. People are always going to be comparing her looks and talent to Jessica’s. People aren’t taking her seriously because they think (perhaps rightly so) that she wouldn’t have a music career if she didn’t have a famous older sister. Ashlee’s music and voice are alright, but I have this feeling that if she wasn’t a Simpson she wouldn’t be getting as much attention and would have had a much harder time getting signed.
She’d be better off with a lighter hair color, that’s for sure.
She’s starting to annoy me. On her show she says she doesn’t want to do pop music and that’s exactly whats she’s doing!!! Ashlee, just because there’s a guitar in the background does not make you rock!

Yeah, I’m just saying that people are will be quick to dismiss her unless she…’, ‘goes “above and beyond” by writing her own songs.
One difference is that rock music usually has a stronger back beat than pop…’, ‘but I’ll admit that sometimes the lines are a little blurred.
