Backstreet Boys Find Way To Maine, Much To Fans’ Delight

April Boyle of the Portland Press Herald was on hand for the Backstreet Boys’ concert at the Civic Center Wednesday (August 10). Boyle writes, “Many of the older songs included choreography. But, the boys wisely opted not to take it too seriously. It had a much looser feel, almost as if they were parodying their former selves. Their tastes have clearly matured. The new songs showed depth and vocal growth.”

See, they may not have the hype they once had, but the fan base is still there, and THIS time around, they get to go see ALL their fans!! I can NOT wait until next Sunday! It’s gonna be bitter sweet because Kenny Chesney will LITERALLY be just across town while I’m at Backstreet, and if you know me at ALL, you know I’m a die hard of both!! But it’s gonna be a great show, and I look forward to seeing them live once again!

The hype…they never wanted that because they wanted their MUSIC to be at the….’, ‘….front of it all. It used to be about only their looks and “OMG…he looked at me” and all they wanted was fans who cared about their music. Well, we’ve stuck around and now we get it THEIR way, and that’s cool!
