Blown Transformer Nixes Britney Spears Set After Two Songs
Britney Spears’ show at the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas was cancelled abruptly after a transformer blew just two songs into her performance. After lights were off in the arena a few minutes, Britney came onto the stage and said, “I’m just so sorry” after news of the cancellation was heard. After the crowd began booing the situation, Britney pleaded, “Please don’t boo.” Fortunately this wasn’t a heavy metal concert, as the pop crowd calmly left the arena.
