Britney Spears Stiff, Pink Exudes Personality

Jim Derogatis of The Chicago Sun-Times reviewed Britney Spears’ new album ‘In The Zone’, giving it only 1 star while giving rival 3 1/2 stars with ‘Try This’. He says of Spears: “Despite her attempt to go ‘street’ on ‘In the Zone’, Spears remains a stiff, cardboard caricature of a sexy dance diva on her first new album in two years.” As for Pink, he says: “As sharp as the songwriting and production are, though, the album succeeds because of Pink’s exuberant personality.”

Before anyone takes this bullsh** seriously please take a look at who wrote this

His freakish overstuffed ass wouldn’t know sexy if it bit him in the backside.

What the hell has that got to do with anything? Britney’s fake.

This guy probably went into expecting to hate the album, but whatever, I like it, and that’s what matters. The album is good…it’s BS to say otherwise.

Also, just want to say that the one review I think matters the most is Rolling Stone’s. To this point, they have been very fair with Britney, and I will value what they have to say the most. If they don’t like it, I’ll be shocked. But I’ll accept it. Won’t change the way I feel about ITZ (Britney’s best album since OIDIA), but I do respect them the most.

Who cares what he thinks. Britney will still sell more albums than Pink.

I think One star is being nice. I heard some of the clips from MTV, its pure crap! Vocals are weak and who said her music is sexual. It sounds like same preteen music she been making for last 4-5 years. Her lyrics are quite dumb. I know the Sun is a tabloid newspaper, but the music critic who review her album was right on the money when they grade this album.

Oops my mistake again, I thought this review was from the Sun tabloid, not the Chicago sun times an reliable source of news and reviews. Well bring on the new review.

First of all, I do like Xtina’s songs. I don’t like her fans who bash on Britney. There is a difference. And admittedly, critics have ALWAYS disliked Britney. So the critic going in there with a biased opinion wouldn’t surprise me. And like I said, I can accept that he doesn’t like, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to stop liking it.

TO all the Christina fans going on about this review and how this should be taken seriously. HERE ARE SOME QUOTES FROM THE WRITER OF THIS REVIEW POP CRITIC JIM DEROGATIS…ENJOY!!! About the VMAs As for the other performances, Beyonce and Jay-Z were a snooze, except for when the diva was lowered upside-down from the ceiling, and the Wednesday Addams-imitating Christina Aguilera was notable primarily for her ongoing efforts to redefine the words “skanky ho.” About Avril Lavigne: Death to Christina, Britney and teen-pop! Long live Avril Lavigne, and long live rock–even if it is of the prefab mall-bought variety.

Well of course Britney is still a stiff, cardboard, plastic barbie doll. she never was, is, or will be anything more than a media whore who loves to suck Fred’s thing. Britney trying to be more street is the funniest crap I have heard. that’s like convincing Saddam to will NEVER happen. any other Britney haters (YES I AM A HATER SO DEAL WITH IT AND COME UP WITH SOME OTHER BULL CRAP TO GET BACK) if you don’t want to hear this whore sing with an orgasm all you have to do is avoid listening to the pop stations and listen to rock stations or hip-hop/r&b stations because they would never play fake music like hers. Britney, you will always be pop so don’t try to act like your more street. only a stupid blonde like Britney would think she will succeed trying to go the hard street way.

This isn’t the first bad review she has gotten although I hardly think critics are worth two cents.

He’s overweight so his opinion doesn’t matter? Wow, you really ARE a true Britney fan, image is the only thing that counts with you guys…loser.

Pink strikes me as being almost as “created”as Britney Spears but just like everyone else in the Biz she’s pulling it off a lot better than BS. I like some of the songs of the new Pink album and if she and Christina continues to make comments about each other in the press it might get big!
