“the media should say something freakin’ nice about someone that’s trying to step out of the boundaries.” telling the media to do something is like telling 75 000 people to like the same color. its not gonna happen….even tho it should. Christina rocks!

of course they aren’t going to say anything nice Christina because most Americans are so damn self-righteous and they think they’re better than everyone. American culture is so plain and conservative.. when you look at the culture and style of other countries.. it’s so different, passionate and fiery.. but not in the U.S. in the u.s., society wants you to conform and be “normal” and not do anything outrageous. I think it’s all bullsh**.. with all the sh!t that’s going on in the world right now.. all people can think about is Christina Aguilera gaining 10 pounds.. so pathetic

It’s nice that Christina wants to “step out of the boundaries”, but she needs to realize that it won’t be easy and there will definitely be people there to criticize her along the way. Either you can take it or you can’t. I don’t doubt Christina’s talent whatsoever, even though I think she needs to be more classy and stop looking like a ho half the time. If she would consider a lot more class, then she’d be the triple threat. Talent, looks, AND class. I’m kind of babbling on here, but these are my true feelings about Christina. Who cares if she put on weight? It’s nice to know that there are females out there that don’t mind gaining a few extra pounds. She shouldn’t let the fat stuff get under her skin. If she’s happy with it, then I guess that’s all that matters. And she is well recognized by the media for her voice and ability, and isn’t that what it’s supposed to be about?

The media is never going to say anything nice. They just love to dig dirt and print trash. Nobody buys a magazine to read a list of compliments about an artist. Most people want to read the gossip and the insults, because it makes them feel better about themselves to put a famous person down.

No, most Americans are not self-righteous. Also, the media doesn’t count all of America. Most people could care less about what Christina Aguilera looks like. The only people who like to comment are the people who don’t like Christina.

Maybe she should focus more on her music than her body. And I am sick of her bull***** about stepping out of the boundaries, she gained weight and she is offended by comments. And I thought she had this “i don’t give a ***** attitude” For one, she isn’t terribly overweight, and Norah Jones is a bit thick, and does she worry about what the press thinks about her looks? They don’t comment, because they focus on her music. She talks about her music, not her body. What about Kelly Clarkson, she has is a bit chubby, and she has said she isn’t going to lose weight because she is happy with herself. Maybe if women stopped focusing on their bodies, the media might follow suit. Why does she have to bring up her body part in her interview?

I agree to comment on Americans was incorrect, their are just as many self-rightgeous people in any other place. It comes out differently. However, everyone comments on Christina’s looks, either good or bad.

The only person talking about it anymore is Christina herself. And honestly, when she puts most of the focus on her body, why should she expect others to focus on something else? She’s so annoying, I can see why she has no friends.

xtina always knows how to push boundaries and to get people talking about it… far so good. this whole new sexy image of hers started a whole new level of controversy…..both good and bad. she’s praised for pushing the limits and being happy and secure with herself. plus she’s been HONEST since the beginning. Christina has ALWAYS been the more talented one out of the teenybop trend of phonies…**ahemBritneyahem*. and she’s bashed because old foggies fear change. go xtina!

  9. rachel says:

she is just hot tamale, she got them talking when she was too damn skinny and now they are talking because she is curvy. Christina girl, just go about your business. She isn’t a publicity whore like some people, so she shouldn’t give a rat’s a*s what any of them say.

The woman is just always complaining, She hates being labeled a slut…She hates being made fun of for her weight. It’s simply hoe, if you don’t like it stop portraying yourself as a cheap truck stop trailer trash tramp and lose some weight, aren’t you entertainer…What entertainers are fat. Come on now.
