Christina Aguilera: Singing Only Ballads Would Be Creatively Stifling
Christina Aguilera talked with CNN about her new CD ‘Bionic’, her new sound, why she can’t stand “phony baloneys”, and those who wonder why she doesn’t put out the kind of music that emulates the success she enjoyed with ‘Beautiful’. The 29-year-old said of the latter topic: “It would be creatively stifling to sit on a stool and sing ballad after ballad. It truly would.” Watch it below the cut.

This girl can belt out the tunes! First saw Christina when she, Destiny’s Child, Monica and a couple others actually opened for Duran Duran in the summer of 1999. Didn’t know who she was except for Genie In A Bottle, lol. Did though after she performed, wow.
