Christina Aguilera Unselfish & Inventive Playing The Hits

George Palathingal of the Sydney Morning Herald reviewed Christina Aguilera’s concert at the Entertainment Centre on Monday (December 8). Palathingal writes, “There’s no fat in its 80 or so minutes: when Aguilera leaves the stage, it’s always for a costume change and she quickly returns. No time is wasted introducing the solid band – tucked away under the stage’s shiny scaffold – leaving plenty of space for the dancers and the star, who has the poise and confidence to hold audience attention even when she’s out there on her own, belting out a power ballad while the dancers rest.” Read more.

Y’all have to admit. Christina has evolved. I think She has definitely become a woman. I guess she is 22 now, I can’t believe she is the same 17 year old blonde chick that came on the seen. Smart young lady.

UPDATE EVERYONE!!! Stripped has moved from number 90 to number 74 on the billboard top 100 charts. She has been in the top 100 for 57 consecutive weeks, not dropping out once in well over a year it has been out. She experienced a big huge sales week…way to go Christina. Her Stripped CD is quickly nearing the 3.5 million sales mark in the US alone while she is approaching 9 million worldwide. The Voice Within and her 5 Grammy Nominations can be credited to the dramatic increase in sales over the past week. hahahahaha haters…she just wont go away!! By the way Justine and Christina both RULE!!! Also her video retires on TRL in 18 days…!

From 9 million to 3.5. What a huge slide. By the time Christina Aguilera’s next album comes out she will barely have a career left. If it sells 1 million copies she’ll be lucky.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!! She has sold almost 9 million worldwide for stripped.. Are you mad cause she is famous… you see the rest of the world knows what real talent is…also her first album sold 8 million plus in the states…hahaha what now dumb ass!

Her first album sold 9 million in the US and now look at the sales for Stripped. It’s a disappointment.

Stripped is one of the best albums going(not because of sales, because of the music,) and Christina is so awesome when she sings live. I loved her concert in London, I especially loved it when she sang “Lady Marmalade” by herself without Pink, Mya and Lil Kim, she can do anything on her own. I really liked how she sang “come on over” at the style of where she is today musically. Anyway, it was an awesome concert and no one can sing like her!

With a voice as beautiful as Aretha’s, dancing skills as good as Janet’s, a beautiful face like Audrey Hepburn’s and a sexy body like Marilyn Monroe’s I consider Christina not just a perfect entertainer but also a perfect human being.

What can you say? she’s awesome. 9 million+ Stripped sold worldwide, Versace model, 5 Grammy nominations, sold out worldwide critically acclaimed tour, and #1 hits all over the world. she’s is the #1 female in music. the Queen of Pop. the most talented, beautiful and sexy. no one can touch her right now.

Christina is horrible live. Almost all critics have nothing but dreadful things to say about her horrible show. The #1 complaint being how extremely boring she is. Christina moves around the stage like a lazy pig. She can’t dance for crap and looks like a complete moron trying. She also uses a back up vocal track which is worse than lip-syncing and much more annoying.

Great review and oh so true! Christina is by far THE most talented and inventive female artist out. Her vocals are off the hook and her live performances are compelling. Nobody else even comes close.
