Clay Aiken Best Dressed
After his ‘American Idol’ makeover, runner-up Clay Aiken is a winner on our new poll asking who is the best dressed male pop star, just edging Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter. Clay got 40.4% of the vote, while Nick got 40%. *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake was third with 21.8%, while Nick’s bandmate Kevin Richardson received 8.3%.

July 25, 2003 – The Boston Herald reports Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, and the other touring ‘American Idol’ finalists were in town for two shows at the Worcester Centrum, and were spotted hanging out at the Nine Zero hotel in Boston and grabbing a bite to eat at Spire.
Clay Aiken: Still Most Searched; Britney Spears Inches Up
July 21, 2003 – Contributed anonymously: On this week’s Lycos Top 50, Clay Aiken remains at #3, and is once again, the most searched musician. Britney Spears, is the most searched female artist, (wow..again) and is at #6. She is finally getting more searches after a slow start in 2003. One of the biggest shocks, Christina Aguilera zooms to #11, after being close to falling off a few months ago. Down the list, Jennifer Lopez drops to #23, Beyonce tumbles to #26, and 50 Cent falls to #30. Eminem, has been losing steam these past months, he remains at #39. To top off the list, two groups, Good Charlotte and Evanescence, are in at #40 and #48, respectively. Also, Celia Cruz, nearly makes the list at #55. But where is American Idols, Ruben and Kelly Clarkson? Well Kelly is getting as many searches as the Bad Boys II soundtrack, which is at #50 and Clay is getting nearly 50x more searches than, Ruben Studdard.
Clay Aiken Chats With Radio Now 93.1
July 21, 2003 – Doc & Tommy of Radio Now 93.1 interviewed the American Idol II star Clay Aiken when the Idols Live tour rolled into Indianapolis. Clay talked about missing barbeques, how his life has suddenly changed, how the tour is formatted, his chocolate allergies, and his love for Krispy Kreme donuts. Audio has since been removed.

Okay people. Lets stop acting like little five year olds and stop bawling and pointing fingers and calling people gay. “Lyke OMG Clay shouldn’t of one because he’s gay” Okay, first off, Why does it matter if he’s gay? And what does this exactly have to do with their fashion sense and the ability to pick out clothes? If he is gay or not, that fact is that this boy can dress. I’m not a fan of his I’m just disgusted on how people are taking this stupid poll. Or the infamous, “They don’t even dress themselves!” Oh please, name 15 stars that do and I’ll take this back. (I have a feeling someone is going to try this) All stars usually have hired help for picking out their attire, some stars don’t, and kudos to them, but most of them do. The point is that bashing the contestants in the poll IS NOT going to change the verdict of it. Geeze. It is what it is. Its just a stupid poll, so lets just all move on with our lives. (P.S This is only to the people who impolitely bashed someone; Kudos to the people who acted their age and just stated a wholesome opinion) Sorry if I stepped on anyone’s toes.
AMEN. What is all this bashing? Clay looks good in suits because he’s tall and slender, however when you see him at public appearance at radio stations, etc he actually doesn’t dress well, usually sweats, tshirts, very casual. He admits he has no fashion sense and needed help. He only brought 2 pair of shoes to LA until Rueben got him into buying shoes. He also says he is a slob, so he must not be gay. From a good friend I can assure you this guy loves girls. Sorry guys, go bash someone else.
