Emma Bunton Turns Down ‘Chicago’ Stage Role
Sky News reports former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has turned down the chance for a starring role in the hit musical ‘Chicago’, to instead continue along with her solo pop career. “I’ve seen the show many times and toyed with the idea of taking on the role of Roxie Hart,” Baby Spice told a friend. “But to be honest at this stage I am having too much fun doing my own music, so for the present time it has to be a ‘no’.”
Emma Bunton Unimpressed With Today’s Pop Stars
February 6, 2004 – The Sun reports former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has slammed the latest crop of pop stars for their lack of charisma. She says: “I watch telly and think, ‘Where’s your spark?'”
I’m sure they are unimpressed with Baby Spice too. But she is definitely entitled to her opinion.
All I have to say is, “Where’s yours” Oh, I forgot, you’re talking about STARS, and you’re obviously not one.
If you think in context of the UK, she made her comeback this year, and is getting some critical praise.
I didn’t quite get what she said. but I don’t care! haha! just go back with all your spice girls then make a comeback. then well see who is the bigger star… you & the group, or them, today’s pop stars?
Emma is right. All of the new pop act are horrible and their music is terrible. No one can stand to listen to it. All the other pop act just try to copy the Spice Girls but are no way are talented or charismatic they were. The Spice Girls will always be the best band in the world and their music the greatest ever. Emma is an amazing singer and she needs to show the world how it is done right, with the spark of charisma. I can’t wait for the Spice Girls to get back together on tour and grace us with their presence yet again! #GirlPower #Emma
