Fans Furious After Enrique Iglesias Cancels Show

The Daily Record spoke with fans outside of Glasgow SECC on Sunday night after news of Enrique Iglesias’ concert had been cancelled due to a throat infection. Shona Summers fumed, “We are all devastated. To cancel the gig at such short notice is simply shocking. We came through from Edinburgh on a Bank Holiday weekend to see one of our favorite stars only to be given a slap in the face. We are paying customers and deserve better.”

One tour insider was suspicious of the explanation saying, “Often tours are rehearsed well in advance with little room for changes once they have progressed. If Enrique had intended to lip-synch his way though the Glasgow shows and was found out, the embarrassment might be too much for him to continue.”
