Federline Defends Spears Over “Baseless” Bodyguard Lawsuit

Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Kaplan tells the Associated Press that claims ’ former bodyguard Fernando Flores made alleging the pop star abused Sean Preston were looked into before he filed the lawsuit. Kaplan said Federline “is satisfied that the allegations are a product of economic motives. They are as baseless as they seem,” adding that Spears’ ex-husband would have stepped in already if he believed their children were in danger.
