Gabrielle Union Passionately Defends Janet Jackson On Kilborn

Actress Gabrielle Union addressed her good-hearted “obsession” with Janet Jackson and also defended her passionately on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. After she went on about how her first concert was Janet’s ‘Rhythm Nation’ tour, Craig asked her about a comment she made about Janet being ostracized and unfairly judged by the media in an article following the Superbowl scandal.

Union said: “Janet’s one of my favorites – she’s still as amazing as she was years ago. I respect her and I feel as though she was a scapegoat for all of the lewd things that have been airing for years. People so suddenly forgot she was active in many charities that most celebrities don’t even look in to. They forgot she was a humanitarian and gave as much as she received. She’s done nothing but bring happiness to so many people’s lives and they’ve got nothing better to do, so I guess they decided to take her down. But you know, it must’ve been a lovely breast to get so much attention.”

After brief applause from the audience, Kilborn agreed jokingly: “Oh, there’s no doubt about that. But Justin Timberlake left that breast hanging, didn’t he?” Union didn’t catch onto the joke, turning serious again: “He’s not a minority and he’s a man. He easily got away with it.”

lol, I agree the fact that a silly thing like a breast flash can all of a sudden wipe out anything good anyone has ever done is quite astounding. Its really quite funny how much of an uproar it caused and how the prudish American communities go shouting out against it like its some kind of disease or something. Oh and the funniest ones are that women and that man who claimed to be”traumatized” by a breast, lol.

This is the best response to that old Super Bowl thing I have ever heard. She put everything in the right words. I couldn’t of said it better. Though the Super Bowl is old news now, it will never die down because television has down a 180 and have changed a lot of sh** because of it. I miss all the live television Mishaps and all the music videos that can’t be shown because of this crap. I wish the Super Bowl didn’t change anything about television. But now TV sucks and MTV sucks even more….and I think MTV is purposely not playing Janet’s new video as much cause they still hold a grudge.
