How The Backstreet Boys Came Undone

Neil Strauss of the New York Times has a Sunday feature out on the Backstreet Boys, and their well documented troubles with Lou Pearlman and his creation of a ‘mirror-image’ act he used to leverage BSB, The Firm, and Nick Carter’s decision to stick with The Firm when the other bandmates delivered the management company an ultimatum. Also brought out was the group’s beef with Jive Records, and the disappointments with ‘Black And Blue’ and greatest-hits CD release late last year. Read more.
