Michael Jackson Performance Generates Heat

April 25, 2002 – Roger Friedman of reported back from last night’s Democratic National Committee voter drive/fund-raiser held at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theater. Headlining the event was former President Clinton and Michael Jackson, who Friedman says performed “to a pre-taped version of ‘Dangerous,’ then did ‘Black or White’ mostly live, and finished with the hideous treacle of ‘Heal the World.’ Instead of a fourth song, he showed the million dollar video that depicts him as a fascist head of state in some fantasy land.” Read more.

Democrats Squirm Over Clinton & Jacko Pairing

April 24, 2002 – The New York Post reports some Democrats are squirming over tonight’s fundraiser in Harlem that will have former President Clinton paired with Michael Jackson. One told the Post, “I can’t believe that during the biggest pedophile scandal in the country, Clinton would appear on stage with a man who paid $20 million to settle a child-molestation case.”

    oh my gosh…. when I saw those pictures of Michael performing I got the chills and my eyes started tearing up……..I hope he goes on tour and I’m already willing to travel in he don’t come to my hometown.
