Jeannette Walls of MSNBC reports Michael Jackson will try to do some damage control after his baby-dangling incident in Berlin last week by doing a sit-down interview with journalist Martin Bashir. “Michael and Martin have had several conversations about the parameters and the format of the interview,” says a source, who says it will “probably” happen, at least in part, at Jackson’s Neverland ranch.

November 24, 2002 – KTLA has a video clip of Michael being honored Thursday as “pop artist of the millennium” in Berlin, Germany. Jackson spoke about September 11, never mentioning the baby flap that overshadowed his visit. The footage has since been removed.
Craig Kilborn Gets In On The Jacko Fun
November 23, 2002 – Craig Kilborn joked during his Late Late Show monologue on Thursday, “Christmas is right around the corner and if you’re looking for a gift for Michael Jackson’s baby, you can’t go wrong with a parachute.” He later joked, “German authorities are now investigating the incident. Right now they are trying to determine if the baby was in more danger on the balcony or back in the room.”
