Wow, Janet back on the big screen. I’m looking forward to that. Lena Horne is a legend of epic proportions … our generation needs an appreciation for her. Can wait to see it!

Janet is mad sexy, and now that she’s older this might be kind of chill. Lena Horne is mad talented, Janet will do well in this role.

Can’t wait for Janet’s next CD, she’s always got good music and plus she’s a good actress, she’s on of the few people who can sing and act unlike some wannabes that we have now.

Janet and Madonna are the only survivors of the 80’s music trend. They continue to switch gears and keep fans guessing. The produce good CD’s even thou I think, Janet’s All For U and Madonna’s American Life were not that good. They were OK at best,,,but the classics remain standing…Velvet Rope and Like A prayer, and Control and Music….they keep America guessing. It will be weird to see what Janet does with a Lena Horne ballad.

Madonna is not a survivor. The media has just protected her. Her movie “Swept Away” was a flop and her last CD sold less the MJ’s. But the only difference between her and MJ and Mariah is that in the media’s eyes Madonna can do no wrong. But she has in fact done a lot of wrong including that fake ass kiss with Britney Spears.

This should be interesting. I’ve always liked Janet and younger generations need to know about legends from days gone by, so by her doing a Lena movie is a good move. Since it’s based on Lena’s autobiography and co-written by Schickel, it should be very good. Glad to see Janet not taking shallow, pointless movie roles, just to have her face on the screen.

When you watch Madonna’s Girle Show or the Virgin Tour or Blonde Ambition they are works of art, that Others try to imitate. Madonna is an Icon, granted, I don’t think she has the best voice, and neither does Janet, but they have something to say. about love, life, racism, homophobia, lust, pain, lost love and politics. Janet Jackson and Madonna are Survivors. Trust that *****. They have set the standard for today’s music females.

Lena Horne is one of the most inspiring crooners that has touched my heart and soul. Her talent is inevitable, incredible, her charm is unbelievable, her class and grace is unforgettable, and her voice is truly one of the most beautiful instrument that God has ever made. Even though I don’t think Janet would be the best to play Lena (Hallie Barry perhaps?), I am glad that Lena Horne’s legacy will be known to the young people of our generation through this production of what I hope will be a good representation of our greatest female legend.

Yes Madonna and Janet are the only true survivors of the 80’s. I love them both, they are my favorite artists…and I also loved “American Life” and “All For You”. Keep doing what your doing J and M…you can’t please everyone. (your definitely pleasing me!)
