Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Jennifer Lopez and fiance Ben Affleck are in town as Ben films exterior shots for ‘Surviving Christmas,’ an upcoming holiday flick also starring James Gandolfini and Christina Applegate. Seems J.Lo is keeping a close eye on her man, as a spy says the diva “sticks as close to Ben as you could imagine–considering she’s not in the movie. … She’s right on top of him all the time.”

Josey Scott on ‘Hero’. Third in the Can’t Believe The Hype category was Avril Lavigne, behind The Vines and Eminem. On Lavigne, John Sakamoto commented, “The indignant griping over the so-called manufactured authenticity of Avril Lavigne’s image was one of the year’s more puzzling diversions.
