Jennifer Lopez Opens Up About Anxiety Attacks
Jennifer Lopez spoke with GQ magazine for the first time about her anxiety attacks, she says she felt “really scared. I had a weird kind of nervous feeling all the time.” Lopez felt she may have went over the edge after “somebody I knew from my past [came] to my trailer and [asked], ‘Do you have $50,000 to lend me?’ And you don’t want to say no, but you can’t say yes, so you say okay, well I can give you this much right now. It made me go, you know what? That’s it, I’m tired. I don’t want to play anymore. I just hit the wall.”

November 12, 2002 – Jay Leno had jokes for Jennifer Lopez and Whitney Houston in his Tonight Show monologue on Monday. Jay joked, “A great weekend for Whitney Houston. Her new CD and husband were both released on the same day. Congratulations.” Later, Jay cracked, “And folks, it’s hard to believe it’s that time of year already. Time to start shopping for a Jennifer Lopez wedding present. Is it that time of year already? Oh, my gosh. As I’m sure you heard, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are engaged. And everyone is thrilled except her best friend, who has to throw yet another wedding shower. ‘Yeah, same blender, yeah’.”
Jennifer Lopez Wants To Take Her Time & Do Wedding Right
November 12, 2002 – Entertainment Tonight caught up with Diane Sawyer before her interview with Jennifer on a special edition of ABC’s Primetime Thursday, airing Wednesday. Asked when Lopez and Ben Affleck they plan on getting married, Sawyer said, “Well, she said only that it will be quite awhile and they want to take their time. She wants to do it right, and she has a whole idea of how it should be and that means that they are going to take some time. So I don’t think we are going to wake up in the next couple of weeks and be surprised.”
