Jesse McCartney On ‘Summerland’ Cancellation

was on ‘MuchOnDemand’ on August 25th, where he told a disappointed audience that ‘Summerland’ had been cancelled. “They– I know– I think it’s just a thing– we were up against– we were in a crazy time slot and, you know, the writers were having trouble, and it was just a bad call, I think, just a strike after the WB, but, you know, it’s cool,” he said. “You guys will get sick of me soon enough; I promise. I’m doing a film at the end of the year called ‘Keith’. it’s an indie film. And, you know, it will give me more time to work on my second record.”

    It was rumored to be cancelled back & March & then they finally admitted that it–‘, ‘was cancelled. But they didn’t confirm it until June.

    although I love summerland, I think the cancellation is a good thing. summerland was holding jesse sown and he needs to tour and stuff. I’m seeing him in manchester, uk 10/25/05 yes!
