Us Weekly spoke with Jessica Simpson after learning the singer will play Daisy Duke in the big-screen version of ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’. Asked how she landed the role coveted by pop rival Britney Spears, Simpson revealed, “My dad called to tell me [I got the part], and I didn’t know how to react!” As for how she’s preparing, Simpson responded, “I’m going to do so many lunges to make sure I have the best ass ever!”

Ashlee is no longer in Jessica’s shadow. She proved she is a better selling artist than her sister in her first week of sells. Will she be around for a while? who knows but she has definitely proven that she’s out of Jessica’s shadow. The question is when will Nick get out of Jess shadow?
using her shadow to become famous is not what I as a sister would think of something flattering. it’s easy to realize how ridiculous Ashlee becomes … her excuse? she wants to be the total opposite of her sister… oh please. Enough is enough. Be different without making a dumb ass out of yourself.
Oh well she is once again cashing in on her sisters new found success. IMO they both can’t sing and are ditzy but Ashlee has better songs.

Starsky and Hutch didn’t bomb!!! Bomb means losing money, it made money. Also The Dukes of Hazard will do well. What state you from? All southern states loved the show and half the country is gonna go see this new one to see what its like. Most people like Jessica and there’s not gonna be much acting to the part so I think it will be cool!
Born and bred in the south here, this stupid movie’s gonna bomb. you just can’t recreate the magic of those old shows. Charlie’s Angels is just successful because of, well, obvious reasons, obviously none of these remake movies were any good.
NO Bomb means if the movie takes in MORE money than was spent FILMING the movie and Im sorry but Starsky and Hutch is BY NO MEANS considered a SUCCESSFUL film. NOW maybe if Drew Barrymore did Daisy Duke the movie would succeed, But get Asses playing the roles like Johnny Knoxville AND an no talent slut like Jessica Simpson and it’s a SURE formula for BOMB!
