Jonas Brothers Discuss Purity Rings & 3D Movie

Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers talked with Movies.ie about swapping their Purity Rings for Pure Evil Rings (and no, they didn’t appear happy with that being brought up), their Irish roots and their new film ‘Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience’.

Asked about The Beatles ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ being something they looked at for the film, Nick responded, “I think it was definitely an inspiration for us. It’s one of our favorite movies, not only with the fan moments in that film, but also the humor. It’s a hilarious movie and we thought we should make this a concert film but really try to make it a full movie. That’s why we added those pieces in the beginning with the breakfast scene and just some pieces to really make it feel like you’re watching film and really give you a clear picture of who we are.”

Questioned how they feel about fans who are so obsessed with the trio, including President Obama’s daughters, Kevin said, “It definitely is still a surprise. You wake up every morning and you realize, ‘Wow, I’m still doing this. This is crazy.’ I think, especially with the way our fans show their appreciation, you have a very high level of respect for them and they do as well for us. I think it’s very, very special.”
