Joss Stone: There’s More Important Things To Worry About Than Paris

Joss Stone tells ‘Access Hollywood’ she felt that Paris Hilton received special treatment because of her celebrity status and that she should serve the full jail sentence. In spite of that, Stone said people shouldn’t really care about Paris’ legal troubles or Britney Spears shaving her head, and that there’s more important things to worry about in the world.

“I think that if you are sentenced to jail for some period of time, you should probably see that through,” Joss said. “But it really depends, was she sentenced for something she did or something she didn’t do? I don’t know the full story. I don’t really read the tabloids. I’m kinda not up on it. But if she’s meant to be there, she’s meant to be there.”

“Just become famous and you can do whatever you want,” Joss joked. “It’s such bullsh**. It is bullsh**, but I don’t know what happened. I don’t know. I’m just making opinions on something that I have no idea what I’m talking about, and to be honest, I don’t really care about it. I don’t think we should be caring about it because it’s pointless. Paris Hilton I’m sure is a very lovely girl, but who cares, really?”

“There’s nothing to it man, and I don’t understand why we are concentrating on Paris Hilton, or Britney Spears,” Stone railed. “If somebody is performing, I understand. If you are bringing something to the world, I understand, but I don’t understand when it’s like this. I mean there’s so many more important issues that we could be talking about. I could go on and on and on.”
