Kevin Smith On Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez Breakup
Star magazine caught up with ‘Jersey Girl’ director Kevin Smith to talk about the new movie and his reaction to his pal Ben Affleck’s split with Jennifer Lopez — both who star in the film. “It’s sad, because they were — and I think they still are — really into one another,” Smith said. “You’ll see it in the flick: There’s real heat there. The performance we got out of Ben in this movie — which is hands down his best work — is because he was so fu**ing in love with her. You can’t pin the blame on anybody. All relationships run their course. All the media attention certainly didn’t help. It’s definitely a shame.”
Latin Billboard Award Nominations Announced
February 12, 2004 – Jennifer Lopez is a nominee for this year’s Latin Billboard awards. She is nominated for Latin Dance Single of the Year for her song ‘I’m Glad’ (Paul Oakenfold’s Remix). Other Nominees include Shakira, Ricky Martin and Thalia. The late “Queen of Salsa” Celia Cruz leads the list of nominees with 7 nominations.
Jennifer Lopez To Release ‘Baby, I Love You’ Single In UK
February 12, 2004 – Contributed by lopez_lover: Following the multi-platinum success of ‘This Is Me… Then’ Jennifer is set to release the 4th single from the album entitled ‘Baby I Love You’. The song is enjoying massive support for both the album version and the R. Kelly remix version. The public reaction from this TV has been enormous and fans bombarded both the Top of the Pops website and J.Lo’s own sites demanding the single be released. The single release will include both the album version and the R.Kelly remix, which until now has only been available on Jennifer’s DVD ‘The Reel Me’ released at the end of 2003. Jen releases ‘Baby I Love You’ on March 8th 2004.
