Kylie said, “People come up to me in the street and tell me they think I’m more British than the British. I’ve lived here for more than 10 years and I feel totally at home — though in my heart I’ll always be an Aussie. February 27, 2002 – The Sun is speculating that after her eye-opening performance at the Brit Awards, pop superstar Kylie Minogue may have had surgery on her butt. An insider told the Sun, “We’ve all certainly noticed the difference. The bum looks like it’s been lifted and is more pert. February 26, 2002 – AAP spoke with Kylie Minogue following her win as the Best Pop Act in Monday’s NME awards in London. In getting the award showing a middle finger in bronze, the singer admitted, “I’m proud to collect this award, but it’s rude – a fist with a finger sticking up. I’ll put it on display with my Brit awards, but when my mother comes over I’ll be putting it in the cupboard. If someone had told me that I’d one day win an NME award I’d never have believed them.”
