Lindsay Lohan Pens Song About Troubled Father
A source tells The New York Daily News that Lindsay Lohan has just finished writing a song about her jailed father Michael which has a working title of either ‘Daughter to Father’ or ‘Confessions of a Broken Heart’.
“It’s the story of a girl crying to her father, asking him why he did all this to the family, and more so, to her,” the tipster revealed. “There’s also something about how, as the oldest child, she carries the weight on her shoulders. She asks him, ‘If you loved us, why did you do all these things?'”
The teen queen’s rep confirmed, “She’s written every word and she’s directing the video. It will chronicle the last year and a half of her life.”

Don’t name it confessions, there’s too much stuff now with confessions in the title
I know how Lindsay feels, I to am the oldest child out of my siblings & it is very difficult being the oldest child. It’s not right for a 19 year old to have to deal with living her life, dealing with Hollywood, her father’s mental illness & crazy behavior, & her parents divorce. On top of that her grandma (her father’s mom) is planing to sell her baby pictures for money to help get Lindsay’s crazy father out of jail.
If you’re going to make your personal life part of your product, then you have to expect tabloids and paparazzi to take a greater interest in your personal life.
I would love Lindsay and or Hilary to write some amazing song and blow us all away. I think they’re both very underrated and under-appreciated.
Well she chose to be in the entertainment business, her dealing with Hollywood is part of the perks of being a celebrity, and at 19 she should already be living her life and dealing with it anyway. But I do find it sad that she has to go through soo many family issues along with her Hollywood career. Hopefully it doesn’t hinder her mental and physical health and such.
I think that’s mainly because Hillary and Lindsay haven’t really shown us that they’re more than just teen poptarts yet. Both of them haven’t really shown that they can do movies beyond the pre-teen targeted audiences, and their music is also targeted to that same audience as well. But I think by now they just seem too old to be acting like they’re still 15 or 16 years old. Hopefully they will start doing better movie roles that aren’t so safe and predictable, and write songs or make music that has much more depth in it.
Well I think that’s brave of her to write a confessional song like that. But hopefully she will realize that if she’s going to write confessional songs, then she’s going to get more attention from paparazzi than she did before! But hopefully she will get through those family issues and such, being young and going through all that isn’t easy for anybody.
