Lisa Marie Presley And J.Lo – One Stole Music From The Other?
On Lisa Marie Presley’s album, listen to ‘So Lovely’ track #8, just the beginning part & the ending part where it’s just the music playing, then listen to Jennifer Lopez’s latest single ‘Baby I Love You’. Listen very carefully, the music is extremely similar.
I happen to own LMP’s album and be a big lover of J. Lo’s song. You are correct in the progression of the notes. But there are only about 13 keys in an octave so expect them to be repeated in the same order quite frequently. Also, I know LMP’s album has been in the work for at least 3-4 years and most of it was rerecorded because the label felt they did not mesh. “So Lovely” is about LMP’s two kids and it’s a very sweet song. Come to think of it, I wrote a song and I recognized the melody and I was listening to the CD and I realized I unconsciously wrote it to the same chorus melody as “So Lovely” which means it’s WAY to close because the entire chorus melody is the same and I can’t use it unless I change the melody all together but I like it the way it is because it’s about my boyfriend so as long as I don’t try to make money off of it I doubt anyone will care! LOL (weird coincidence!)
“Lisa Marie Presley And J.Lo – One Stole Music From The Other” This sounds familiar to J.Lo and Mariah Carey stealing the same background music from each other…
Let’s get something straight… Mariah didn’t steel ANYTHING from J Lo…why would she need or want to?? J Lo is the one who stole ideas from Mariah’s Glitter album.
J.Lo is notorious for ripping off other people’s hard work and ideas, so this doesn’t surprise me.
STOP RIGHT F***ING NOW! Mariah Carey DID NOT steal any music from J.Lo. J.Lo DID steal music from Mariah. This is not the first time J.Lo has copied someone: 1. Her perfume line ‘Glow’ is being sued for by ‘Glow Inc.’, reporting copyright infringement because J.Lo allegedly copied the name “Glow”, which belongs to ‘Glow Inc.’. 2. She is being sued by the original singer of “All I Have” which J.Lo sings along with LL Cool J. The woman claims J.Lo had no authority to cover the song with out her permission. 3. The creators of the hit movie ‘Flashdance’, are suing the singer, which report she preformed their flashdance sequence in her video “I’m Glad”, which she used without permission. 4. “I’m Glad” video has garnered the singer another lawsuit. Dancer Maureen Marder (‘Flashdance’ dancer) plans to sue Ms. Lopez for theft of intellectual property featured in her “I’m Glad” video.
He’s suing Jho for stealing his “Carmen” feature film idea.
