The Daily Magazine is covering LA fashion week. They interviewed Louis Verdad, who designed the MTV Video Music Awards outfits for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Madonna. Here’s the part of the interview where he talks about Britney, and Christina:
Q: You dressed them all?
A: I did. I did Christina before and she’s great. That was my first time with Britney and… I don’t think I’ll ever do it again.
Q: Why?
A: She’s just not the kind of costumer I love to dress. I always say the life a lot of people lead is smog: When it disappears, there’s nothing left. A lot have substance. A lot don’t. I prefer substance.

Just letting you all know before you start posting that you hate Britney Spears her publicist has commented on this and says: “This is complete fabrication and Britney is very upset. She was very tired and behaving the best she could. We don’t know what gave the impression to Louis Verdad that Britney had no substance. Maybe Louis Verdad should try recording an album on top of rehearsing all day AND THEN doing an outfit fitting.”
he means he likes to work with people who haven’t come from the shallow end of the gene pool basically he’s saying Britney is vapid and empty and shallow and boring. LMAO.

Some celebs that have met Britney has called her the nicest person they’ve ever met! and most people see Christina as a bit cold and distant from people. I guess the guy likes people with an edge to them, which Britney, sadly, lacks.
everybody has their bad days-i doubt she was rude tho and I doubt he’s a good judge of substance he doesn’t even know either of them

I love Christina she has so much style in she isn’t scared to try different things Britney style is tacky ugly as hell and boring so I could see what the designer is talking about Christina rocks and Britney sucks basically is what he’s saying.
