A fan on Christina Aguilera’s forum at LiveDaily.com caught Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden sticking up for Christina Aguilera after Evanescence singer Amy Lee insulted Christina and Britney Spears to Steppin’ Out magazine. mario25 writes:
Okay I was watching the rock countdown last night anyway Benji was talking about Amy Lee and her remarks about Christina. He basically said that the guys should be the judge on whether Christina is a slut he said that Christina is not the Queen of Mac Nasty and that Amy should be concern about her own career and leave Christina alone. Joel said he dislike other girls bringing other girls down. Benji also said he is going to ask Christina to marry him. He was joking of course but it was funny and sweet the way he said it. But he dissed Amy in a classy way.

I think Benji needs to take his own advice. He should concern about his own damn career and leave it alone. It’s her opinion, nothing you can do or say will change it. She was right though. She wasn’t bringing anybody down. She was just saying, with talent like that you don’t have to dress slutty or something. Also, why should guys be the one to judge whether Christina is a slut or not? whatever, we all have a right. And you people having a fit, Amy is aloud to voice her own her opinion, like you and I do. Just because she is famous doesn’t mean she can’t. So quit bitching, because you too, judge singers. What Amy said wasn’t even bad, so why ya mad for?
