May 7, 2003 – Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com reports that Madonna had some harsh comments for America when she gave an interview with the BBC recently. “Madonna said that most Americans are rude and obnoxious,” says a source. “She said that Americans are upset with her for having abandoned that country for England. And she’s clearly no fan of American president George Bush. But for some reason, all those comments were left on the editing room floor.”
Madonna Says Hubby Turns Her To Drink
May 2, 2003 – Madonna revealed on Friday that her husband has turned her on to that most English of pastimes — drinking too much ale in the pub with her mates. “I didn’t start drinking until I met Guy Ritchie — he’s been a wonderful influence on me,” joked Madonna of her husband on BBC television. “I get drunk with him. Third up was last season’s ‘American Idol’ champ Kelly Clarkson, who cleared 134,000 copies of ‘Thankful’.

April 29, 2003 – With Madonna in town, MSNBC.com’s Jeannette Walls reports hotel workers at a Hyatt in Cologne, Germany, have been frantically calling other countries, trying to locate a retailer of Kabbalah water. A source says, “They were having a heck of a time locating Kabbalah water, which is the only stuff Madonna will drink, because apparently, water blessed by Jewish mystics is not a hot-selling item in Germany.” The Material Girl’s spokewoman denied the charge. Madonna is bringing her own water,” she insisted.
