Mariah’s Been Out of UCLA Psych Center Since 9-11

According to the New York Daily News’ Mitchell Fink, Mariah Carey was released the same morning the terrorist attacks occurred in the United States.

Mariah and her brother Morgan had planned to fly back to New York, but since air traffic was grounded and her apartment is in Tribeca, they decided to stay in Los Angeles and likely are still there. The two are reportedly staying at Virgin Music exec Nancy Berry’s home.

Mariah’s rep Cindi Berger wouldn’t comment on Mariah’s current status.
