The Mirror reports after arriving to the Liza Minnelli and David Gest’s wedding on Saturday two hours late, the gloved one offered a very short toast to the newlyweds saying, “I am a man of few words, but please raise your glasses to the bride and groom.”

Wants To Steam Engine In Musical

March 19, 2002 – Shelby Loosch of the Globe reports she hears that Michael is dying to play the lead role of Rusty, the misunderstood steam engine in the film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s stage hit Starlight Express, which has just finished an 18 year run in London. Jackson feels a strong bond to the locomotive character who triumphs over obstacles and setbacks, as he feels his career has travelled a similar path.

Friedman wrote of the appearance by Michael Jackson, “Top billed as best man, made the ceremony and the reception, but split after giving a quick toast honoring Minnelli and Gest.
