Michelle Branch Wins Viewers Choice Award
Michelle Branch took home the MTV Music Video Award in the Viewers Choice category for her hit ‘Everywhere’. Michelle told the crowd, “I was ready to leave because I didn’t think I was winning this. And I think I’m drunker than Pink. Anyway, I want to thank Jeff my manager because little did we know, you know, four years ago, I never thought I would be standing here. Everyone at Maverick, especially Danny Strick, Liz Freelander for directing the video, yes, she’s amazing. Judy and David. John Jangs for helping me with the record. Thank you so much, guys.” She later apologized on the post-show for not thanking her mom, dad, and fans.
