Miramax To Hide Ben & Jen From ‘Jersey Girl’ Promos

Us Weekly reports Ben Affleck and ’s photos will not be shown on the posters of their upcoming film ‘Jersey Girl.’ After the disastrous results of promoting the duo’s romance, in an attempt to boost the dismal ‘Gigli,’ the producers of ‘Jersey Girl’ have decided the promotional materials for the Kevin Smith-directed flick should not include the faces of either Affleck or J.Lo. “After ‘Gigli,’ [Miramax] doesn’t want to take any chances with another laughingstock flop,” a source explained. The advertising reportedly will boost ‘Jersey Girl’ as another Kevin Smith film.

This is a great idea!. Kevin Smith attracts my (and those who know his work) attention more than Ben and Jen.

How can they ‘hide’ Ben when he’s a main star of the movie?

HA!!!! That’s real sad!!! The stars of the film can’t even be on the promo poster, that’s sad!!!! They are jokes!

^Why not hide the movie and never show it?

Great idea! Kevin Smith should not have to pay for the Bennifer show disaster. I love his movies. Too bad Affleck is the main character. I have so lost respect for this man. He acted like such a phony in this Bennifer relationship. I would of never thought Ben was that type of person.

Kevin Smith sold out! Maybe his fast ass should be on the posters…he would probably sell more movie tickets than the Bennifers.
