According to the Sleaze section of z100.com, Joe Simpson came to z100 and in a private listening party, introduced new Ashlee Simpson music. The three songs played were called, ‘L.O.V.E.,’ ‘Goodbye,’ & ‘Who’s Gonna Catch Me When I Fall.’ They were reported to be very good. Also it was mentioned Ashlee wrote a song to Lindsay Lohan called, ‘Didn’t Steal Your Boyfriend.’ The first single is, ‘L.O.V.E.,’ and it is said to be a female empowerment anthem. The album is due this October and it was said Ashlee might make an appearance on Saturday Night Live’s season premiere.

she’ll appear, but who will sing for her?
i hope they make fun of her in every skit. and I hope she gets caught lip synching again.
I love Ashlee. She put on one of the best LIVE concerts I’ve seen in my 22 years of living.

In a strange way I sometimes feel sorry for her. A lot of singers lip sync (and not just the “teen” singers either) but she is the one who got caught, her sister is georgeous and she looks like popeye, her supposed friends dissed her behind her back, and her attempt to portray herself as the “bad” Simpson girl has been undermined by her sister’s recent tabloid exploits. Then every once in a while I hear one of her songs on the radio and I stop feeling sorry for her.
yeah but when you think about it….’, ‘The main reason why people hounded her for lipsyncing is not because she got caught, but because she is a newcomer in the music business. If people hear Madonna or Janet lipsync, it’s not as big of a deal because they been around longer, and it doesn’t really overshadow the fact that they are great performers. But when you have somebody who’s a newcomer, and they’re caught lipsyncing, for one it just looks bad, and second, it’s what they will be most remembered for. Because really, it’s no secret that more and more artists are lipsyncing, but when somebody is new in the business, they should be very careful about how much they lipsync if they are going to do it at all. It’s bad enough that Ashlee is new in the biz and is going to be judged a lot, but to have her lipsync is only going to make things harder for her to be taken seriously.
don’t forget the fact that she was dissing other singers for lip-syncing then she turn’, ‘turns around and does as well, I think that was the real reason gave her such a hard time.
and also because she came up with so many excuses to why’, ‘she had to lipsync. Like first she blamed her band, then she said that she had throat problems or acid reflux or whatever. It was just too obvious that she was trying way too hard to cover up something that she should have admitted doing instead of making excuses.
