In addition to giving zit-fighting advice to Britney Spears, Dr. Brad Katchen has advice for Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, who also suffers from recurring acne. The cause listed for Carter in July’s Spin magazine is “Drinking. Dancing. Crying when getting arrested. Space-exploration jealousy.” Katchen said, “He would benefit from topical agents with antibiotics in them. These are often combined with benzoyl peroxide to dry up zits. He could also benefit from monthly chemical peels, which would, through exfoliation, give him porcelain skin.”
