Nick Carter Plays A College Student In ‘Brew’

UpcomingHorrorMovies.com has the scoop on the new “over the top horror/comedy” featuring Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter. Their plot summary states, “A college guy inherits a brewery, and decides to sell it because along with the brewery, he’s inherited $100,000 of debt. So he and his friends go to clean this place up, but what they don’t know is that his supposedly long-dead ancestors have been locked away in the cellar, living off beer made out of human blood. They manage to lock the kids in the brewery, and from then on it’s a chase.” Two other cast members have been named: Brad Dourif (Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Child’s Play 1-3) and Amanda Plummer (Freeway, Pulp Fiction, So I Married An Axe Murderer). The director of the flick will be Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist). Shooting begins in October.

this movie sounds so *****ing pathetic and lame. I heard them talking about it on TRL….okay blood that turns into beer???? That is so *****ing cheesy. Yeah its gonna be a whore(nicks in it)/comedy right….we are all gonna be laughing when it does horrible :)

elgato, you’re so silly. I don’t waste my money on trash, like you. I put my money to good use, I would never use it to see Nick Carter in a movie, or anything else….if I wanted to see him, I could just visit a farm and look at the cows. :)
I really like Nick, but this sounds like a really lame idea for a movie. He should pick better roles!
I think it sounds pretty cool, tho beer into blood sounds pretty gross. Nick must be doing something right acting-wise if this company keeps hiring him. I’d heard it was the same company that’s doing “The Hollow”. Anyways, it should be interesting to say the least.
Last time I checked, Elgato never asked you “waste” money on anything, much less him. Buying cheesy NSYNC lip gloss & throw rugs is not putting your money to good use, sorry.
I’m trying but I cannot imagine Nick Carter acting. and the plot DOES seem very very cheesy.
Granted the story-line is a lil lame but I happen to like cheesy horror flicks. Plus if you know Nick, he probably liked the idea of blood turning into beer haha GO NICK!
