As Pink last two singles, ‘Feel Good Time’ and ‘Trouble’ flopped, her label (Arista) is worrying over her next release. ‘God Is a DJ,’ was released to radio earlier this week, and it is soaring on the pop charts, she is at #63 on pop radio with +342 spins. However, on the Rhythmic stations, the stations who first embraced Pink’s music, the single is at #289 with -4 spins. ‘Trouble,’ even did better. Also Pink is in hot water over her new album debut. While it had respectable chart showings worldwide, Arista thought the #9 debut in the U.S. was low for one of their biggest artists. her last album sold 4.1 million copies in the U.S.A., won critical acclaim, had four top 20 singles, and peaked at #6. The reviews for ‘Try This,’ were mediocre, the first single peaked at #67, and the first week sales were low. In the end, this is make or break time and it is still uncertain if she make it.
