The People reports that after a crazed arsonist John Hennigan broke into the luxury home of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and hubby David while Posh and their sons Romeo and Brooklyn were home, the soccer ace has spent £130,000 on a new alarm system featuring infra-red sensors. “David and Victoria were sick with worry,” a source close to the family revealed. “They had already spent hundreds of thousands on security and couldn’t believe it had fallen short of what they had hoped. They made a decision there and then to make sure it could never happen again.”
The Beckhams Could Be On Their Way Back To Britain
News of the World reports former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has secretly enrolled two-year-old son Romeo at the same top private primary school that Brooklyn went to before moving to Madrid, fueling talk that hubby David is unhappy at Real and wants to finish his career in the Premiership. “Victoria has always wanted her children to be raised in England,” a source said. “And David feels he’s lost his edge at Real and has been thinking about coming back to finish his career here.”
Posh And Becks Aren’t Magazine Sell-Outs
In a wide-ranging interview with The Mirror, David Beckham admitted he was concerned that many people thought he and wife Victoria Beckham, formerly of the Spice Girls, sold “every part of our lives” to style magazines – most recently the christening of their sons Brooklyn, five, and Romeo, two. “We haven’t done that for five years. Not once,” the soccer star insisted. “People see the ‘Exclusive’ tag on the front of a magazine and think ‘They’ve sold the christening pictures’. But all you see is cars going in and out of our gates. We don’t do that. We don’t involve our children. I don’t complain in general. The only thing I do complain about is the privacy I should get for the children. Everything else, I understand that there is publicity surrounding me and Victoria.”
