Rodney Jerkins Reinventing Britney Spears & Himself On New Album

Rap-Up TV talked with producer Rodney Jerkins about reuniting with Britney Spears and Brandy for their new albums.

“You know what, I’m just trying some new things,” Jerkins said of Spears’ new disc. “I’ve always worked with Britney and I love working with her. I’m trying to reinvent her and reinvent myself for her project, and stuff we did for her is very dancy, really uptempo. In the clubs, real aggressive, and catchy. Very hook friendly.”

Jerkins added that he worked with Spears four weeks ago and said, “I was very happy to see she’s working on the positive side and she’s moving towards new things now.”
