Shakira’s new Spanish single is called ‘La Tortura’, and is a duet with Alejandro Sanz. It’s been recorded from the radio, and is available for downloading in a low quality version at Shakiramedia.com. Shakira’s new Spanish album is titled ‘Fijacion oral’, and will be in stores June 7th.
Shakira’s Album Pushed Back To Early ’05
August 26, 2004 – According to Shakira’s official website, the singer is currently writing and recording her next album which is due in early 2005. The album had earlier been given a November 9, 2004 release date.
Update: Shakira posted a message to fans on her official website, telling fans that her new album will be out in 2005, “so hang tight!”

Yeah! I can’t wait. I love this girl, she is so talented and and she makes the most amazing music. I’ve been waiting a long time to hear something new from her, and to have two albums, probably one in English and one in Spanish, it’s great. I can’t wait to hear them both, although I do like her songs better in Spanish, it voice is more suited to Spanish songs it seems. But that’s a given I guess.
Finally man, I really have missed her a lot. I know it’s going to be amazing because she took a good time for that. I’ll buy both CD’s anyways.
