Sleepless Michael Jackson Shocks London Hotel Staffers

News of the World reports Michael Jackson shocked staffers at the Lanesborough Hotel near Hyde Park in the early hours of Wednesday before announcing his comeback shows at London’s O2 Arena the next day. “Michael shocked us with his behavior,” a hotel source told the British tabloid. “He was wandering around the lobby in the early hours looking completely spaced out. The security team had to help him back to his room. It was not what we were expecting at all.” Friends insisted the pop star was suffering from jet lag and insomnia, nervous about making the announcement.

January 11, 2009 – Kevin Nottingham spoke with Akon in a Q&A, asking the singer about whether he’s been working with Michael Jackson on his comeback album. “Um, of course Mike is probably working on something very special,” Akon responded. “I can’t get into full detail exactly what is going on with the project. And that’s just more so that we can have the leverage this time without stuff getting leaked around.
