Brian McFadden 'Wall of Soundz'

Brian McFadden tells Coast Confidential that he and girlfriend Delta Goodrem’s relationship is still going strong even though they’re both busy apart with their respective careers. “We’re used to it (being apart),” he explained. “If we had two weeks off and we were sitting at home doing nothing that’s when it’d be harder. Even if we were in the same place we wouldn’t see each other much because we work so hard anyway.” McFadden was in Queensland to film Saturday’s Brisbane auditions for ‘Australia’s Got Talent’, where he’s a judge along with Dannii Minogue and Kyle Sandilands.

Brian McFadden Blasts Delta Goodrem Split Reports, Defends Kyle Sandilands

Brian McFadden is responding to reports that his relationship with Delta Goodrem is on the skids in postings at his Twitter (@BrianMcnugget). The former Westlife star also put in a good word for Kyle Sandilands, who was sacked as a judge on ‘Australian Idol’ and received a suspension along with Jackie O. from Austereo following their morning show lie detector test that had a 14-year-old girl revealing she had been raped at the age of 12. McFadden writes:

For the record Delta and I may be having a sad time with deaths and other stuff but we are still madly in love and happier than ever!

Don’t always believe cheap magazines who love to make up stories. Delta and I just had a great holiday in Bali…. TOGETHER!

AND finally… long live KING KYLE.. Pathetic treatment all around from a country he has entertained for years… Your loss!

But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon, not get married between gigs.”

I’ve also announced another Palms show in Melbourne (with Jade) and heading up to Qld to tan or burn my Irish skin over the hot December period.

Brian McFadden checked in with fans on his blog at MySpace (@brianmcfadden) on Thursday (June 19). The former Westlife singer writes, “So over the last few days we’ve shot my new video for ‘Twisted’ with director Daniel Reisinger and without wrecking it for you – I’m a clown; I get arrested amongst other things. On the set the handcuffs got stuck on my wrist so much that it nearly broke! I also managed to fall into a police car window and smash it.. Anyway loved every second of it and think it’s going to be a complimentary video to ‘Twisted’.. Thanks to everyone who came down to be extras – it’s not as exciting as fast paced as I’m sure you might of expected but appreciate those guys and gals who sat around and waited patiently for their time!”
