The singer tells Neil Strauss that he hadn’t planned on a solo album, but after bandmate Justin Timberlake’s solo success, producer Dallas Austin suggested he too test the solo route. “I said, ‘J is doing his thing; I just want to chill’,” Chasez recalled. “Then Dallas sat down with me and said, ‘Why aren’t you doing a record?’ I said, ‘I was just getting used to living again’.” Read more.
