David Sprague of the New York Daily News reviewed Lisa Marie Presley’s concert at Beacon Theater on Monday night. He says, “Standing stock-still with a deer-in-the-headlights stare, Lisa Marie looked for all the world like a kid at a junior-high recital. Presley hid a decidedly limited voice behind an oversize band featuring two well-miked backing singers. Most of her 40-minute set was drawn from her album, ‘To Whom It May Concern’ – a mishmash of mid-’80s new wave and lite metal.”
